UNREEL
Unreel privacy policy
Unreel is a Chrome extension that hides Instagram Reels. It collects nothing, and what it stores never leaves your computer.

What Unreel collects
Nothing. Unreel does not collect, sell or share any personal data. It has no server, so there is nowhere for anything to be sent.
What stays on your computer
Unreel keeps a few settings in Chrome's own local extension storage, on your device only:
- your on or off choice for each blocking option
- when a break ends, and how many breaks you took today
- a daily count of the Reels it hid
What Unreel reads
While you are on instagram.com, Unreel looks at the page inside your browser to find Reels and hide them. It does not record, copy or send any of that content anywhere.
It runs only on instagram.com and has no access to any other website.
No tracking
Unreel has no analytics, no ads, no accounts and no tracking, and it makes no network requests of its own.
Deleting your data
Removing Unreel from Chrome deletes everything it stored.
Who makes it
Unreel is made by We Sort Sites. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Unreel is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta or Instagram.
